How It Works

Thin film that transforms your windows

Residential window film is a thin, clear or frosted layer bonded to the glass in your home's living areas, sunrooms, and kitchens. The film rejects solar heat before it enters the glass, blocks over 99% of UV light, and can be tinted for daytime privacy while keeping your outward view clear.

The payoff is real: cooler rooms and lower A/C bills in hot Shreveport summers, protection for floors and furniture that would otherwise fade from sun exposure, reduced glare on screens and mirrors, and the peace of mind that comes with daytime sightline privacy.

Why Homeowners Choose Tinting

Smart glass for your living spaces

A practical, permanent upgrade that begins paying for itself in the first summer.

Beat the heat

Film blocks solar energy from entering through the glass, which means your air conditioner runs less and rooms stay more balanced in temperature.

Preserve what you love

Hardwood floors, area rugs, artwork, and furniture fade when hit by unfiltered UV rays. Film blocks 99% of that UV, keeping colors true for years.

Privacy without darkness

Tinted film lets you see out clearly while making it hard for people to see in during daylight hours, without turning your home into a cave.

Cut the glare

Sun glare on TV screens and laptop displays disappears, so you can watch and work in comfort even on bright afternoons.

Soften harsh light

Frosted and diffused films scatter bright sunlight into gentle, even illumination throughout the room.

Decorative options

Etched, frosted, and patterned films add visual interest and texture while providing privacy and UV protection.

Common Questions

Residential window film, explained

Will tinted film make my house feel dark inside?
No. Many of our solar-control films are nearly clear and block heat and UV while keeping rooms bright and airy. We also offer completely clear options. Everyone has different preferences, so samples help you decide what works for your home.
How much can I save on cooling costs?
Results vary, but many homeowners see measurable savings on summer A/C bills because the film blocks solar heat before it enters the glass. You'll also notice fewer hot spots and more consistent room temperatures.
Does daytime privacy film work at night?
Reflective privacy films work best during the day when the sun is bright. At night with interior lights on, they become less effective. For 24/7 privacy, we recommend frosted, etched-glass, or decorative film options.
How long before the film fully cures after installation?
Film cures over a few days. We ask that you avoid cleaning the windows for at least a week after installation to allow the adhesive to set completely. We'll give you detailed care instructions when we finish the job.
